Jungle

Jungle is the second Pokémon TCG set, released in June 1999 as the first expansion to the Base Set. With 64 cards, Jungle introduced new Pokémon species and the first-ever Secret Rare — the elusive Prerelease Raichu. The set is themed around tropical and grass-type Pokémon, with a distinctive green aesthetic that sets it apart from its predecessor. Jungle is notable for introducing the Eevee evolution line in holographic form: Vaporeon (12/64), Jolteon (4/64), and Flareon (3/64). These Eeveelutions have become highly collectible, particularly in Gem Mint condition. Other standout holos include Scyther (10/64), Snorlax (11/64), Pidgeot (8/64), Mr. Mime (6/64), and Electrode (2/64). The set is also famous for the Prerelease Raichu (8/64 variant), which was distributed at prerelease tournaments and features a unique date stamp. This card is considered the first promotional card in the TCG and is a must-have for serious collectors.
