Skyridge, released in May 2003, is the thirteenth and final Pokémon TCG expansion of the E-Card series and the last set produced by Wizards of the Coast for the English market. With 144 cards, this set was printed in limited quantities, making it one of the scarcest and most valuable vintage sets in existence. Skyridge is legendary for its Crystal Pokémon — the pinnacle of the e-Reader holofoil technology. Crystal Charizard (150/144), Crystal Lugia (148/144), and Crystal Ho-Oh (149/144) are among the most valuable and sought-after cards in all of Pokémon TCG history, with PSA 10 examples commanding five-figure prices. The Crystal holo pattern features a stunning transparent, faceted design unlike any other card in the TCG. Beyond the Crystal cards, Skyridge features beautiful holographic versions of Gengar (20/144), Umbreon (32/144), Espeon (14/144), Alakazam (1/144), Arcanine (6/144), and Aerodactyl (2/144). The set's artwork, by a roster of talented illustrators, consistently ranks among the finest in the TCG. Due to its limited print run, Skyridge is considered by many collectors to be the holy grail of complete vintage set collections. Near-mint complete sets are exceptionally rare, with the Crystal cards being the primary barrier to completion. Skyridge represents the end of an era and remains one of the most prestigious sets to collect.
